19U AAA TEAM WINS PGHL TITLE
February 19, 2023
Our 19u Tier 1 team proved to be the best in the west, as they won the 16/19u AAA division at the PGHL (Pacific Girls Hockey League) championship tournament in Las Vegas. After a 16 game season, the top 4 teams qualified for the playoffs, and our girls bested everyone to take home the gold medal and the banner. Congratulations girls!
ANGELS AWARDED 19U TIER 1 TEAM

Thanks to our 19u AA team's outstanding showing at the USA Hockey National Championships, where they finished the preliminary round with a perfect 3-0 record, our club has been granted Tier 1 status for the 2022-23 season! Tryouts will be held the first weekend in June.
HS GIRLS WIN THE PONYTAIL TOURNAMENT IN MARYLAND
March 20, 2022
Our 12u and H.S. teams traveled to Laurel, MD to play in the Ponytail Tournament to end their seasons. The 12u girls went 2-1 and were edged out of the final in a tiebreaker, and the HS team made it to the championship game, where they were able to pull out a gutty 1-0 win, bringing home the banner for the 19u division!
19U AA GIRLS WIN IN ROCHESTER, NY
November 14, 2021
NBC 7 San Diego featured our 19u AA team after they won the Roc City Girls Fest Tournament in New York earlier this month. It was an especially emotional and meaningful win, as the entire club made the trip to Rochester to honor Coach Jamie in Elmira, NY at the Elmira College Women's Hockey home opener that weekend.

Thanks to a great relationship with other hockey clubs in San Diego, our girls program is now part of the San Diego Saints hockey club. Girls teams will play under the San Diego Angels logo, and will be based out of Kroc Center Ice in La Mesa.

With these positive changes, our club is able to put our girls and our families first, and make decisions as an autonomous organization. Our coaches, players and families have been unanimous in support of this move, and we look forward to a bright future where GIRLS COME FIRST!

CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENT A HUGE SUCCESS!

For the second consecutive year, we hosted the San Diego Girls' Christmas Invitational. With over 20 teams in attendance from 4 states, 7 champions were crowned, and a good time was had by all!

2019-20 SEASON WILL FIELD 6 TEAMS!

We are pleased to announce that we will be fielding a record 6 girls teams this upcoming season. Our 8u and 10u teams will play 2 tournaments in addition to their metro league schedule. Our 12u, 12/14u and 14/16u teams will play in 4 tournaments in addition to their schedules in either the metro league or the district league. Our 19u AA team will play in 6 tournaments in addition to their district league schedule.

3 ANGELS TEAMS AT PACIFIC DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIPS!

14U AA GIRLS ON NEWS AFTERÂ PITTSBURGHÂ WIN

The month of February was a good one for our National Bound 14u team, as they traveled to Pittsburgh, PA for the Steel City Selects Girls Invitational, and WON! They beat 4 nationally ranked teams from Colorado, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and were featured on 3 news outlets in San Diego. Here is the story that was aired on KUSI.
ANOTHER BANNER AT SAN JOSE MLK TOURNAMENT

Our 19u girls team closed out their girls tournament season by winning the banner at the San Jose MLK Girls Tournament. They finished the season ranked in the top 3 girls 19u AA teams in the Pacific District, and had an 11-3-2 record in games against girls teams.
SAN DIEGO GIRLS EXCEL AT SD CHRISTMAS INVITATIONAL

Last December saw San Diego host their first ever girls ice hockey tournament, and it was a rousing success! In addition to the great competition and beautiful awards, the event was highlighted by a tournament wide party on Friday night, where all of the girls could skate, talk, and have a good time. Our teams were incredible in the tournament, and are highlighted in California Rubber Magazine.
FIRST TOUNAMENT OF THE SEASON BRINGS WINS

All 4 San Diego Girls teams traveled north to Los Angeles over Thanksgiving Weekend to play in their first girls tournament of the season... and what a success it was!
Our 12/14u team made the playoffs, and our 10u , 14u, and 19u teams made it to the the Championship Games in their respective divisions. All in all, we brought 2 banners back to San Diego, and will build on that success going into our next tournament at the end of December.
2018-19 GIRLS TEAMS READY TO START SEASON

Over Labor Day Weekend, we hosted a neighboring club to a fun day of hockey and BBQ, as the season officially began. This year we are pleased to field 4 teams in the following divisions/leagues:
10 & Under (SD Metro League)
Jr High 12/14u (SD District League)
14u AA (SCAHA/CAHA National Bound)
High School 19u (SD District League)

The main focus of our season is girls tournaments, Thanksgiving weekend in Lakewood, Christmas Break in San Diego, and MLK Weekend in San Jose.
SUMMER GIRLS ONLY HOCKEY CAMP A HIT!

In July, we hosted our first Girls Camp, with some incredible instructors. Blake Bolden (Buffalo Beauts, NWHL - Boston College) was on the ice along with Megan Bozek (US Women's National Team, Olympic Medalist) and goaltender Brianne McLaughlin (US Women's National Team, Olympic Medalist), assisted by Keely Moy (Harvard Univ.)

2017-18 SEASON COMPLETE

In the 2017-18 season, our 14u team won the first ever banner in our club's short history in February while playing at the St. Louis Gateway Cup in the Girls 16u Division!

A month later, our 12u team won the banner in their division at the Girls' Ponytail Tournament in Laurel, Maryland.
